The most ambitious project undertaken during the club’s pandemic crisis was the enclosure of Bear Junction-Horseshoe Curve. Proposed by scenery chairman Dave Van Wagoner, the project included the complete enclosure of the western end of the Bear Junction and Keezletown areas. Due to space and access limitations, the project was conceived in several build phases. The overall project took about six months to complete.
This project was started by scenery chairman Dave Van Wagoner in the Spring of 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
