About This Project

The Town of Winchester house a large yard that is available for auto rack cars bring in cars and trucks.  There is also an auto parts facility adjacent to the yard.  A refinery plant is busy making fuel products, while a small fuel distribution plant is equipped to fill tank cars to distribution across the layout.  Gulf-branded tank cars from a former member, Jim Corbett, handle all of the fuel transport chores on the layout, all of which are currently stored in the Winchester yard.  You will find plenty of unique details in this area, as well as the farmlands in the distant background.
